The London Olympics through others’ eyes

Ok, this is a bit off-topic for a radio blog, but an interesting comparison between the different promotional styles adopted by US, UK and Australian television broadcasters for the exact same event.

So, what’s it to be? The implausibly filmic “unprecedented wealth of coverage unlike anything you’ve ever seen”, the animated instruction to “never miss a moment” or the most Australian painting in London since Rolf Harris arrived?

We welcome submissions from other countries, tv or radio, and especially any truly shonky but well-meaning ones.
