A sonic rebrand for Absolute Radio
This week, Absolute Radio launched a new sound to their on air branding to go inline with the new Faces for Radio marketing campaign which has recently launched across London and the South East.
The new branding debuted on air on Wednesday 15th Feb with the music for it having been recorded at Sunset Sound Studios in West Hollywood where artists including The Rolling Stones, Led Zepplin, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Aretha Franklin, Elton John, Bob Dylan and The Doors have previously recorded. How on brand.
It’s a nice refresh from the original sonic logo when the station has launched (written & created by Sandy Beech at Music 4 and recorded at Abbey Road Studios) from the three note sonic (Ab-so-lute) to a six note logo (Ab-so-lute-ray-de-o).
