Student radio stations bid for The Selector

UK Student Radio stations have the chance to make a globally-renowned music show in partnership with the British Council, Folded Wing and the Student Radio Association.

The Selector is a longrunning weekly showcase of new British music. Presented by Goldierocks and produced by Folded Wing for the British Council the show boasts an estimated global audience of four million. It is heard across 39 countries including Brazil, Columbia, Malawi, Indonesia and China.

In addition to being able to run The Selector on their schedules, the winning Student Radio stations also get the opportunity to appear on the international edition of the programme with Goldierocks.

If you’re associated with a Student Radio station and would like to get involved you can download the application form here. Applications close on 1 September 2013. Good luck.

Finally, here’s a podcast made by Folded Wing about this scheme.
