We do like a good PR stunt to get people talking and tweeting – and the masters of PR have to be Paddy Power. The world’s music press, radio stations and media were all eyes at this music event. Great work Paddy Power!

The BRITS on Radio
Music Radio and The Brits are such natural bedfellows as the its the biggest celebration of British music all under one roof.
What is great is how each brand delivers the activity in its different ways.
From Capital’s backstage blog and OB and a Twitter party to Kiss doing special mixes of key British artists and Radio 1 doing interviews and OB’s from the Red Carpet. It seemed BBC Radio 2 didn’t want to have anything to do with it as they held their annual Folk Awards last night at the Royal Albert Hall.
It looks like things at XFM wasn’t as exciting however …

And there’s something about events like this that brings station groups together – such as Capital FM’s Marvin Humes being the voice of Capital XTRA’s show the same time as the Capital Network! and KISS’s Ricki being the voice of Magic’s content:
