Ubisoft run innovative ads using Shazam for game release


To celebrate the release of video game ‘Watch Dogs’ – Ubisoft have produced an innovative ad format allowing listeners to view the trailer and additional content with their smartphone.

The radio ad supports their TV creative by giving listeners the chance to ‘hack’ the Watch Dogs ad using Shazam – inline with the hacking message of the new game.

The ad break starts with a 10″ introduction spot then finishes with a 20″ ad spots promoting the game which users can ‘hack’ via Shazam to gain extra content to drive trailer downloads and gives listeners the chance to watch gameplay and graphics.
