James Stodd is on Fire

Fire Radio bannerCelador Radio head of production James Stodd has further developed his creative repertoire after Celador purchased the hit music station Fire Radio.

The acquisition means James and his team is now responsible for imaging three formats – the South Coast’s rocky Jack 106, the female-orientated AC network The Breeze which runs jingles by Reelworld and now Fire which operates an energetic contemporary music formatĀ on FM in Dorset and DAB across South Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

The group has wasted no time in tightening-up the CHR playlist and introducing hot new imaging, produced in-house by James. The new sound includes a fresh top of the hour sequence and these fun branded intros:

James told Earshot Creative he was able to draw on his experience imaging the Capital Network in the 00s when he was responsible for imaging Capital 95.8, Power FM and BRMB.

James will be speaking at The Imaging Days conference in Amsterdam on 8 and 9 September 2014.
