Ideas and technique to help you promote and image radio

How can you learn about live events from the pros?

Radio event professionals take the stage at the Radio Academy’s next London branch event. The pros will be talking all things events and live music at this exclusive panel.

Things really have moved on a bit from this …

to more like this ….

How do they do it?  What does it take to pull off the perfect radio event and are events drawing listeners in long term? What makes a good event? How can they brought to life on air and online? What happens when it all goes wrong? Can they help improve audience figures or are they just a money making scheme?

All those questions and more will be answered by a panel of events experts on Tuesday October 21st including Jason Carter, BBC Head of Popular Music and Live Events for BBC Radio 1, 1 XTRA, Radio 2, 6 Music and BBC Introducing, Siobhan McCreesh – Director of Events at Global Radio and Jazz FM’s Head of Live, Alex Lloyd.
