Yes, Ekdom in de Ochtend means Ekdom in the Morning. It’s a morning show on NPO Radio 2 in the Netherlands and jingles house Top Format has given it a fresh sound from today.

An alarm clock, scrambled eggs, loads of coffee and host Gerard Ekdom! Workdays start better with ‘Ekdom In The Morning’ at national public broadcaster NPO Radio 2. In the summer of 2015 the preparations for the new morning show started off with a pitch for their jingles and audio imaging.

Triggered by the passion, vibe of a new morning show, Spotify playlist and briefing of team Ekdom, Top Format developed a unique pitch entry. The ultimate morning mood full of positivity, guts, power and above all: goose bumps! The results have such a convincing radio feel that the pitch in collaboration with Peter Kok and Gerard Ekdom turned into awesome morning show jingles!
